We had another fantastic experience at our church conference! The venue was immaculate, providing a comfortable and professional setting throughout. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any requests. The meals were delicious and well-organised, catering perfectly to our group’s needs. We highly recommend this location to anyone planning a group event or conference—it’s an excellent choice for a seamless and enjoyable experience!

I stayed here in May 2023 for 4 Day
I also stayed here for 4 days last October 2022 which was a much better experience
The organisers of the seminar did a great job as always
I understand that the accommodation is basic hostel style, shared accommodation mostly 3 to a room with small single beds and extra small bathrooms
My stay this time was spoil due to the appalling standard of food
No choices, extremely small portion and tasteless food
breakfast was okay
Dinner was half a bowl of soup and a side plate of salad no protein or cheeses involved with it just Salad cream
Evening meal one choice no desserts
No starters tasteless And stodgy
People where hungry it was so surreal
I felt I was in some Adult offenders prison and I was doing my time for some crime I didn’t commit
In all honesty it was truly a poor show
50+ paying adult
It was so bad I would not even return if it was offered to me free
its such a beautiful building but whoever is managing the property will run it into the ground for sure very quickly

Loved the house and ambiance but my oh my the food was terrible. Not enough and very plain in general. Rooms were ok. Overall it was a nice place where our course was held

We have just enjoyed a very enjoyable weekend conference with good food and facilities. Room was basic but comfortable and met our needs. Pleasing location and easy access by car.

I had the privilege of spending a brilliant weekend at Carronvale House on 11th and 12th August for a YouthBank Scotland Exploring Youth Leadership Residential. I can't thank the staff enough for how helpful they were and how they went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure all our needs were catered for. The accommodation was spotless, the food was excellent, the outside space is amazing and I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a really wonderful place to host a residential. Hope to come back very soon and big thanks to all staff who looked after us!😁

I have hired the house on several occasions and it was always a pleasant experience. Very nice venue with reasonable prices, friendly staff and good access for disabled persons.

Carronvale House is an excellent facility in beautiful grounds. The facilities are modern and the functions rooms are set up with conference facilities for groups from half a dozen to about 80! The location is great within walking distance of the train and with ample parking, it's less than ten minutes from the motorway. Rooms are basic but functional, bathrooms are clean and the food is perfectly adequate, although if you get the steak pie it's outstanding! Carronvale is perfect for church groups, alpha holy spirit away days, small/medium businesses and many other events and meetings. I can throughly recommend it, it's a gem.

Carronvale House is the headquarters of the Boys' Brigade and can also be used as a conferencing facility. Its surroundings are very good with a large garden area to relax in with a mini putting green and there is also a good gym area for sporting activities.
